Herds/Physics
Choose one of the following:
-
Use a physics engine or a game engine to create a real-time shooting gallery.
-
Create a traffic simulation of cars on a street network (of the regular,
Manhattan type) that prevent collisions and yield [British: give way] to
cars approaching an intersection from the right. Render the result in 3D, possibly using a game engine.
-
Create a herd of bugs (with no legs or with static legs) or R2D2-like robots
moving on uneven terrain and avoiding collisions. You may use a game engine.
-
This is an alternative if you want to look more closely into shader programming:
Create an .fx effect that turns a flat collection of polygons
into mountains with rock faces and green plains.
